Week one is for confidence
The first week of a gym plan for beginners should not feel like a test you can fail. Your job is to learn the room, find the equipment, practice the basic movement patterns, and leave with enough energy to come back. Start each workout with five to eight minutes of easy cardio, then use light warm-up sets before your first lift. Choose weights that feel controlled and stop every set with several good reps left. You are building a routine, not proving toughness to strangers.
