Start with the deficit
Fast fat loss starts with energy balance, not punishment. The goal is a consistent calorie deficit that you can repeat for four weeks while still training hard. For most people, that means protein at every meal, vegetables or fruit daily, planned carbohydrates around workouts, and a small buffer for foods you enjoy. Crash diets make the scale drop quickly, but they also make lifting performance, sleep, mood, and adherence collapse. A better fat-loss workout plan gives you enough structure to create a deficit and enough fuel to keep moving well.
