Progressive overload drives growth
A build muscle workout plan needs measurable progression. Muscle grows when hard training creates a reason to adapt and recovery provides the resources to rebuild. Pick a rep range for each lift, start with clean form, and keep one or two reps in reserve on most working sets. When you can hit the top of the range for every set, add a small amount of load next time. If load jumps are too large, add a rep, slow the eccentric, or add one controlled set. The key is planned pressure over months, not random max effort every Monday.
